CROSSFIT

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and on average, punish the specialist. The workouts are known as WODs (workout of the day) and combine diverse movements and energy pathways. Movements come from diverse backgrounds like power-lifting, Olympic-lifting, gymnastics, cardio-training, and emphasize functionality over muscle isolation.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders, and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed these workouts and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms, and homes.

YOUTH FITNESS

Designed to meet the needs of young athletes who want to improve overall strength, flexibility, endurance, and mobility. Our youth athletes participate in the same workouts as our adult athletes, but are scaled to meet the age and experience level of each teen member. With a strong focus on form and technique, we guide our young athletes to understand the mechanics of lifts, movements, and exercises before heavyweights are introduced. Whether your sport is running, soccer, football, hockey, lacrosse or anything else played on the court, field, diamond, rink or pitch, CrossFit Teen can help young athletes achieve more on the field and off.

PERSONAL TRAINING

ELITE PERSONAL TRAINER (EPT)

The elite personal trainer is our highest level trainer who has worked with a variety of individuals for more than five years. Each elite trainer has a Level 1 Certification, along with multiple specialized certifications. Rates: 60-minute sessions $90 per session | 30-minute sessions $60 per session. All sessions are sold in packs of 8.

ADVANCED PERSONAL TRAINER (APT)

The advanced personal trainer has worked with a variety of individuals for more than one year at the Academy of Fitness. Each elite trainer has a Level 1 Certification. Rates: 60-minute sessions $75 per session | 30-minute sessions $45 per session. All sessions are sold in packs of 8.

PERSONAL TRAINER (PT)

Each personal trainer has completed a Level 1 Certification and our Coach Development Program with guidance from an elite personal trainer. Rates: 60-minute sessions $60 per session | 30-minute sessions $30 per session. All sessions are sold in packs of 8.

OLYMPIC LIFTING

Our Olympic lifting program is for athletes to learn, practice, and train the clean, jerk, and snatch. Athletes of all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. If you are new to weightlifting, the exercises are taught and practiced starting with only a barbell. Once technique becomes proficient with the only a bar, we will progressively add weight based on ability. If you are someone who has experience in weightlifting, daily workouts are prescribed and technique issues will always be addressed. Our goal is to improve your performance through better efficiency with the technical lifts.

OPEN GYM 24/7/365

The freedom to work out at your convenience, unrestrained by time, work, and family commitments. All membership options include 24/7/365 open gym access to CrossFit Wake Forest through the Hybrid Athlete Foundation phone application. Use the app to open the gym door and to find any other gym in the HybridAF network when traveling. Open gym can be used whenever regular group classes are not in session. The app provides a WOD or you can do any WOD you choose.

All active members will have 24/7 access to the full network of gyms in the Hybrid AF network. Members will also be able to attend free drop-in classes at any of the network facilities. The network currently includes several locations in North Carolina (Cary, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsboro, Clayton, Wilmington, Morehead City, Fayetteville, Greenville, Goldsboro) as well as locations in Ohio, California, Georgia, Texas, and South Dakota. There are currently fifty facilities in the network.
